Background:

Born in 1765, Angela's life has been anything but easy. Her mother passed away in childbirth, while her father was stuck out in foreign lands, leaving her a poor orphan. Forced to fend for herself as soon as she could walk and even teaching her self how to swim through the Thames, she never developed a sense of trust, until her teenage years. She wanted to make her own living, but back then, it was harder for a woman to find a good job.
Luck was on her side however, when she applied for a diving bell job, and they accepted.
She quickly proved her money's worth and those lessons in the Thames worth by gathering treasure and salvage flawlessly. So flawlessly she earned the respect of her crew mates. And of the jealousy of the other divers, who that night, decided to...remove her by throwing her overboard in the cover of darkness. She struggled to stay up in the night, until she finally sank, her lungs filling with water...and that should have been the end. But it wasn't. She was given a second chance as a Bearer. As she woke up at the seafloor, she saw an ancient spear in her hand, which would become her tool for vengence. She scrambled to the surface for air, coming up far stronger than she went down. For days she pursued the crew that betrayed her, and when she finally caught up, and they saw her alive, they took her for a demon and took up arms. But they didn't have a chance.

And so, the HMS Sea Knight was hers, and has been ever since.
With her new vessel, she found a new crew and sailed to new lands. She set anchor in America, where she was able to buy a home and even meet her future husband, James Fencer, a gruff yet kind sailor who didn't take sh*t from anyone, and treated Angela like she always wanted and even let her turn him into a Bearer so they could stay together.
They were very happy, but she never felt satisfied just training with her husband, who lost to her every time except once.

Until she met them. A young boy and girl who were in their twelves came to town in desperate need. The girls identity is unknown, but the boy had no name, but he was known... As S. As hard as she was, she couldn't bear to watch these children suffer, so she took them in as her own. But also as combat and diving students. Her training was harsh at first, but as time passed on and they grew, they were becoming strong and independent teenagers.

Since then, she taught them all she could, and they bid her a tearful farewell. But she knows she'll see them again....
