RECORDS OF PROJECT KARMA

1801: Reports of an unknown human infant found in Central Australia by Aboriginals quickly spread. The child was taken from the natives to a colony back in Eastern Australia. A odd sword was found with him.

1805: The child began developing erratically. Strange antisocial behavior and was taller any other his age.

1813: the Child was now 12 years old. But physical growth halted around the 10th year. Studies theorized that his growing had paused.

1820: The child still hasn't resumed growing. All those he knew had reached adulthood. But the child exhibited higher than average intelligence and exceptional motor skills.

1830: The child goes missing.

1840: A freak massacre occurred in Botany Bay. Several delinquent youths and two adults dead, suspect unknown.

1842: The escaped child is found again, this time armed with the mysterious sword. Authorities tried to apprehend him, but were forced to shoot.
However, when they brought the coroner to retrieve the body, it was gone. The child was not seen in Australia since.

1880: A ship sails from Botany Bay, on course to America. The ship goes missing, never to be found.

1885: A young boy matching the child's description is reported to be in Japan, accompanied by a young girl.

1900: Preteens matching the earlier descriptions are reported in America. However, there are no future developments.

1931: A freak massacre at a mafia ring in Boston. The entire gang was left in unrecognizable states. This incident apparently followed a robbery gone awry that claimed at least 5 lives.

1960-65: Several militia group leaders are assassinated or kidnapped over 5 years. Many claim the First World nations were responsible, but these claims were quickly dismissed. No-one knows who was responsible.

1968: A lone ANZAC soldier and a young Vietnamese girl survive a Napalm bombing in North Vietnam. They say they were both saved by a mysterious third man, but this third man was no-where to be found.

1978: A Bearer male and female have been reported by an anonymous tipoff.
They are apprehended and brought back to the Pentagon for research. Karma find groundbreaking discoveries.

1979: The Blast of 79. A sudden explosion blows an entire section of the Pentagon to rubble, scattering debris 3 miles in every direction. Citizens and authorities rushed to the scene, and witness a young man carrying a young girl out of the rubble and out of the city, quietly crying.

1980: The same boy from the blast of '79 comes back. This time, he tells the world the existence of Bearers, superhuman beings that stem from humans who have been unfairly wronged. He also speaks of Project Karma, a secret Anti-Bearer organization which he declares his enemy.
The boy remained unidentified, but was named by rumors, as "Sorrow."

1981: The Bearer situation spirals out of control as war breaks out between Bearers and Humans. Eastern Europe is first to be hit.

1982: A strange anomaly which came to be called the Dark Zone first appeared in Eastern Europe. Project Karma is unable to gather intel on it due to jamming interference from the anomalys' proximity.

1983: An unlikely occurrence; a large concentration of Bearers forming a single order known as a "House."

1990: The Soul Survivors launch a major offensive against Project Karma in western Russia. They lose 70% of their forces despite claiming victory. Their morale was shattered and the house broke up, and Sorrow himself disappeared. Dead, captured or killed, it is unknown.

1992: Several new Houses emerge after the Soul Survivors' dispersal; The Fallen Angels in Europe, The Ruined Ones and The Savage Seraphims in South America, The Red Sun Alliance in Australia and Death School in Africa.

1995: Several more Dark Zones appear where the new houses congregate. In a matter of weeks, more than 30 nations are taken or evacuated.

2010: Takai Yoshiku, President of Yoshiku Robotics, is assasinated. The company has since been left to his daughter, Harime.

2014: Sorrow resurfaces......
